Cast: Oguri Shun, Horikita Maki, Ikuta Toma, Mizushima Hiro, Kamikawa Takaya
Synopsis: The drama is based on the popular manga of the same name by Nakajo Hisaya, which has already been dramatized in Taiwan. Horikita plays the protagonist Ashiya Mizuki, a Japanese girl in the U.S. who one day sees the young athlete Sano Izumi (Oguri) compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him, and decides to move to Japan to attend the same school as him. However, Izumi goes to an all-boys school, so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy to achieve her dream of being with her idol.

Opinion: This drama is just as excellent as the Taiwanese version. Though they are both based on the same drama, the Japanese version doesn't follow the details as closely as the Taiwanese did. It sure makes it more refreshing to watch because there is no impression of deja-vu and I keep anticipating the next actions excitedly. Moreover, it is so funny, sometimes I just have to pause the video, laugh then rewind re laugh and go on. Definitely give it a try if you haven't started already.
